Work has been recognized with best-paper nominations and invitations to special-issue journals. Nominated for CMU’s prestigious ‘Andy Award’ for dedication to student mentorship.
Research Experience
Project Scientist at the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), working on robust coordination and decision-making for multi-robot teams in adversarial settings. Previously worked at The MathWorks Inc., where he created advanced simulations for autonomous vehicles, including for the Indy-500 oval circuit.
Background
Research interests include Multi-Agent Systems, Game Theory, and Robotic Testbeds. Dedicated to a fundamental challenge for the future of robotics: how can teams of autonomous robots collaborate and succeed in complex environments, especially when facing intelligent adversaries?
Miscellany
Strong believer in experimental validation, actively uses both in-house fabricated and commercial autonomous robots to bring research from theory to practice. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of roboticists.
