Resume (English only)
Academic Achievements
  • Published multiple papers in international conferences such as ICML, NeurIPS, RSS, etc. Organized a workshop at RSS 2024 on Geometric and Algebraic Structure in Robot Learning. Presented a long presentation at ICML 2022.
Research Experience
  • Collaborating with and visiting MIT LIS group led by Prof. Leslie Kaelbling and Prof. Tomás Lozano-Pérez. Interned at Meta (Summer 2024), Boston Dynamics AI Institute (Spring-Summer 2023), and Amazon Science (Summer 2021).
Education
  • Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Khoury College of Computer Sciences, Northeastern University, advised by Prof. Lawson L.S. Wong and also working with Prof. Robin Walters. Interned at Microsoft Research Asia during undergraduate studies and worked with Prof. Hao Su at UC San Diego.
Background
  • Research Interests: Enabling robots and agents to act in open-world and long-horizon scenarios by advancing learning for planning and world modeling. Employing structured approaches that integrate planning and perception, leveraging lossless and lossy abstractions such as symmetry, compositionality, and hierarchy. Building learning-based systems that bridge perception and planning through neural networks, including the use of recent pre-trained foundation models, to enhance scalability, generalizability, and efficiency in decision-making systems.
Miscellany
  • On the job market primarily looking for postdocs and industry research scientist positions.
