Research interests include the design of adaptive robots, mobile manipulation, space robotics, legged locomotion, perception and navigation, reinforcement learning for robotics, construction robotics, and rehabilitation robotics.

The lab also organizes a variety of scientific events including conferences, workshops, and summer schools, and has partnered with multiple companies to develop robot platforms such as ANYmal and SpaceBok.
