Received SRC Technical Excellence Award; Appointed Dean’s Professor; Elevated to IEEE Fellow; 13 IEDM papers accepted; Cumulative funding of the research group exceeds $17M, sponsored by NSF, DOD, DOE, SRC/DARPA JUMP 2.0 program, and a dozen of industry companies.
Research Experience
Currently a professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, leading the Laboratory for Emerging Devices and Circuits. The lab's research spans from nanofabrication, device characterization and modeling, prototype chip design to system-technology co-optimization.
Background
Research interests include designing energy-efficient computing systems based on emerging semiconductor devices and 3D integration technologies, such as AI hardware with silicon CMOS and beyond CMOS technologies including resistive, ferroelectric, and oxide semiconductor materials.
Miscellany
The lab is located at the Pettit Microelectronics Building at Georgia Tech’s main campus.
