Background
Research interests: Intersection of robotics and artificial intelligence. Long-term goal: to build general-purpose robotic systems that can intelligently perform a wide range of tasks in various environments. Specifically, his group focuses on developing algorithms and systems for robot perception and manipulation. He serves as a co-chair of the Technical Committee on Robot Learning in the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and as an Associate Editor for IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters.
