Research Experience
Research Assistant at CV:HCI Lab. As a member of the JuBot project, developing systems to recognize human behavior to improve robotic assistance systems for activities of daily living.
Education
Completed M.Sc. in Computer Science in 2021 and started a Ph.D. at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The Ph.D. candidate position is partially funded by the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung.
Background
Research Interests: Developing computer vision systems for accurate human activity recognition and motion analysis. Professional field: Computer Vision, Machine Learning. Overview: Leveraging synthetic data from simulations to overcome limitations in real-world data collection such as sparse datasets or privacy concerns. Focused on bridging the 'domain gap' between synthetic and real-world imagery.
