Published multiple papers, including 'Diffusion-aware Censored Gaussian Processes for Demand Modelling' (IJCAI 2025), 'Offline Hierarchical Reinforcement Learning via Inverse Optimization' (ICLR 2025), 'Context-aware Bayesian mixed multinomial logit model' (Journal of Choice Modelling, 2025), etc.
Research Experience
Previously a H.C. Ørsted / Marie-Skłodowska Curie Actions (COFUND) postdoctoral fellow at DTU, working on spatio-temporal models of mobility demand with emphasis on modelling uncertainty and the effect of special events. Currently an associate professor in the Machine Learning for Smart Mobility (MLSM) group at DTU.
Education
PhD from the University of Coimbra (Portugal), working on probabilistic models for learning from crowdsourced data.
Background
Research interests include: Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Bayesian Modelling, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Urban Mobility, and Behaviour Modelling. Currently an associate professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), focusing on understanding and optimizing urban mobility and human behavior.
