Research Experience
Was a Researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), Genova, Italy, from 2018 to 2023, leading the VICARIOS Mixed Reality and Simulations Lab, focusing on immersive remote telerobotics in hazardous environments; Postdoctoral fellow at IIT, Italy, from 2012 to 2017, working on telesurgery and developing novel mechanisms for surgical robotics.
