Research Experience
Involved in the AERO-TRAIN project, aiming to enhance the remote operability of UAVs by introducing autonomy components that can handle the integration/fusion of robotic modeling, path planning, obstacle avoidance, low-level flying control, and environmental perception. Also, developing augmented reality interfaces for accurate, easy, and safe human-machine collaborative operation.
Education
Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering, Luleå University of Technology, Sweden; supervised by Professor George Nikolakopoulos; received an Integrated Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Patras, Greece, with a focus on automatic control and robotic systems.
Background
Research interests include the use of edge computing architectures in robotic applications, aerial manipulation autonomy components, and augmented reality. Currently working on the AERO-TRAIN project, which focuses on enhancing remote aerial operations.
