- Worked as Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from May 2013 to April 2014. Visited University of Technology Sydney, Australia, as Visiting Professor from July 2018 to July 2019.

- Obtained B.E. degree in computer science from Inner Mongolia University in 2002, M.S. degree in computer science from Peking University in 2005, and Ph.D. degree in information engineering from the Australian National University in 2012.
