Research Experience
Currently conducting research in the Robotics and Control Lab at the University of British Columbia, collaborating closely with the Prisman Lab at Vancouver General Hospital. Previously interned at Intuitive Surgical (2023) and visited the Biomechatronics Lab at the University of California, Los Angeles (2018), advised by Dr. Veronica J. Santos.

Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, supervised by Dr. Tim Salcudean; M.S. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Dr. John Galeotti; B.S. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Peking University, worked with Dr. Qining Wang.

Research Interests: Developing advanced ultrasound and surgical augmented reality systems for transoral robotic surgery, with the goal of improving clinical outcomes through intelligent, image-guided interventions.
