  • Received a MSc degree in 1996 from Universidad Simón Bolívar under the direction of Prof. Hector Geffner, and later a PhD degree in 2004 from University of California, Los Angeles, under the direction of Prof. Judea Pearl and Prof. Richard Korf, both in Artificial Intelligence.
Background
  • Research interests include automated planning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, Bayesian networks, heuristic search, etc. Former Professor of Computer Science at Universidad Simón Bolívar and researcher at the Departament de Tecnologies de la Informació i les Comunicacions (DTIC) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
