- He has published journal papers on TPAMI, CVIU, TIP, and conference papers on CVPR, ECCV, 3DV. He is also the reviewer of TPAMI, TIP, TVCG, CVPR, and ICCV.
Research Experience
- He is currently a senior researcher at the WeChat AI Team of Tencent, leading the team of computer vision research and development since April 2020. He was a senior researcher at YouTu X-Lab of the Social Network Group of Tencent from Sept. 2017 to Apr. 2020, working with Dr. Jiaya Jia and Dr. Yu-Wing Tai. He worked as an algorithm engineer in DJI for eight months before joining Tencent. From 2012 to 2016, he worked with Dr. Steve Lin at Microsoft Research Asia as a full-time research intern in the Internet Graphics Group.
Education
- He received his Ph.D. (with the National Scholarship) from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, under the supervision of Prof. Kun Zhou, in 2017; B.Eng degree from the same university in 2011; and was an exchange student at Simon Fraser University from 2009 to 2010.
Background
- His research interests include computer vision and computer graphics, specifically 3D reconstruction, appearance modeling, computational photography, and the relevant VR/AR applications on facial images.
