- UltraFusion won the CVPR 2025 best demo honorable mention; BilarfNeRF won the SIGGRAPH 2024 best paper honorable mention; PhocoLens was awarded a spotlight presentation at NeurIPS 2024.
Research Experience
- Worked at Google Research from 2017 to 2022; has been serving as a Vice Chancellor Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong since November 2022.
Education
- Received his Ph.D. from MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in 2022, supervised by William T. Freeman; obtained his M.Phil. in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011, supervised by Prof. Xiaoou Tang and Prof. Jianzhuang Liu; received his B.E. degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University, China, in 2009.

- Research interests include computational photography, computer vision, computer graphics, and machine learning. Currently, he is a Vice Chancellor Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
