Research Experience
  • Was a visiting scholar for five months with the Mobile Multi-Sensor System research team at the University of Calgary, Canada, in 2009; spent four months as a visiting scholar at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India, in 2011; was a visiting researcher at the underwater research department at FOI Swedish Defence Research Agency during the spring of 2019; worked as a researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, between 2010 and 2017; served as an assistant and later associate professor in automatic control at Linköping University between 2017 and 2022; was an associate professor in signal processing at Uppsala University from 2022 to 2024; currently, he is an associate professor in communication systems at KTH, also holds positions as an adjunct associate professor in automatic control at Linköping University and an adjunct position at FOI Swedish Defence Research Agency.
Education
  • Received BSc in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2003; MSc in Electrical Engineering from the same institution in 2005; PhD in Signal Processing with a thesis on low-cost navigation systems in 2010.
