Awarded the Arnbergska Prize by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA) in 2004; elected as a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) in 2007; received a scholarship in Åke Svensson's name from SAAB in 2011. He is an associate editor for EURASIP Advances in Signal Processing and IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems.
