He has published several papers in international journals and conferences. He has raised more than 1.2M EUR for European/Italian projects.
Research Experience
He is the Chair of the IEEE Italy RAS Chapter and an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Robotics. He has been involved in multiple research projects, including the newly funded COWBOT project.
Background
Research interests include model-based control design of robotic systems, particularly control strategies for dexterous, dual-hand, and nonprehensile robotic manipulation, unmanned aerial vehicles, aerial manipulation, legged robots, and human-robot interaction. He is an Associate Professor of Control and Robotics at the University of Naples Federico II and the reference for the Dynamic Manipulation and Legged Robotics (DynLeg) research topic within the PRISMA Lab.
