Led significant projects such as INSEMTIVES, RENDER, QROWD, and MediaFutures; Helped almost a hundred small and medium businesses from more than 20 countries innovate with data through ODINE and Data Pitch; Conducted research on mitigating biases in knowledge graphs and making the entire knowledge graph life cycle more transparent and accountable.
Research Experience
Worked in Southampton, Germany, and Austria before joining King’s in 2020; Led 16 research and innovation projects and worked on 28 more; In QROWD, led a team to build a hybrid, crowd-AI architecture for smart transport; Contributed to SOCIAM, a UK program studying the design and evolution of social machines; Worked on ACTION, collaborating with 16 citizen-science communities in Europe to fight pollution; Expanded this model of engagement to over 125 initiatives in the Impetus program.
