Currently an Assistant Professor in the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) at Penn State. In addition to research in health technology, has extensively collaborated with machine learning and HCI researchers on topics such as self-tracking, mobile payment design, video game player experience, governance of online disruptive behaviors, and the role of social media in civic engagement.
Education
Received a Ph.D. in Information and Computer Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Yunan Chen from the Department of Informatics at the University of California, Irvine.

Research interests lie at the intersection of Health Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Computer Supported Collaborative Work (CSCW), with a focus on transparency, privacy, security, and safety of health technologies.
