Academic Achievements
Research contributions have received over 11,000 citations, achieving an H-index of 32. Named among the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University in 2024, and received the Yunfan Award at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in 2023. Multiple papers accepted at top conferences such as ICLR and NeurIPS.
Research Experience
Before joining INSAIT, conducted doctoral research at the University of Sydney and collaborated with professors at CUHKSZ. Now a tenure-track faculty member at INSAIT, leading a research team in visual cognition and intelligence.
Education
Received a Ph.D. from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Sydney in 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Wanli Ouyang; obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHKSZ) in 2020. Previously worked closely with Prof. Chao Dong.
Background
Research interests include visual perception, visual processing, visual generation, and visual reasoning. Currently a tenure-track faculty member at INSAIT in Sofia, Bulgaria, leading a group working on visual cognition and intelligence.
