Academic Achievements
- Received an NSF CAREER grant (2015), Sloan Research Fellowship (2017), Adobe Data Science Research Award (2020), and Facebook Research Award (2021). Named a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics in 2022. Awarded an Early Career Award in Statistics and Data Sciences by the International Indian Statistical Association in 2023. Serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Machine Learning Research and Statistical Science.

- Was a research assistant professor at TTIC from 2008 to 2010; post-doctoral fellow at UT Austin from 2010 to 2012, working with Inderjit Dhillon and Pradeep Ravikumar.

- Graduated from IIT Kanpur with a B.Tech. in 2002; received M.A. in 2005 and Ph.D. in 2007 from UC Berkeley, advised by Peter Bartlett.
