Resume (English only)
Academic Achievements
  • Serves on the editorial boards of several journals: Journal of Nonlinear Science, Nonlinear Analysis, SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis (SIMA). Engaged in various research projects, including collaborations with Nicolas Garcia Trillos on properties of perimeter on random geometric graphs and its continuum limits, and with Xavier Bresson and Thomas Laurent on applications of optimal transportation to image analysis.
Research Experience
  • Currently a Professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Carnegie Mellon University; has supervised multiple graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
Background
  • Research interests include the use of techniques from applied analysis, calculus of variations, and PDEs in machine learning/data analysis, particularly for analyzing data clouds, graph-based representations of data, and datasets of images. Additionally, interested in variational problems on graphs and their continuum limits.
