Authored or co-authored over 150 refereed journal and conference papers, textbooks, and book chapters; received multiple awards including best paper awards from IEEE/IFIP International Conference on New Technologies, Mobility, and Security (2015) and Wireless Telecommunications Symposium (2018); served as a technical editor for journals and TPC co-chair for workshops in several international conferences.
Research Experience
Currently a professor at Qatar University's College of Engineering and the director of the Cisco Regional Academy; worked as an Advisory IT Specialist at IBM Innovation Centre in Vancouver from 1998 to 2007, leading system development for vertical industries.
