Academic Achievements
  • Research has been honored with Best Paper awards at major graphics conferences including SIGGRAPH, High-Performance Graphics, Pacific Graphics, EGPGV, and GRAPP; received the “Frontiers of Science Award” in Beijing for 3D Gaussian Splatting in July 2025; two papers accepted to SIGGRAPH ‘25 in May 2025.
Research Experience
  • Currently a Tenure-track Assistant Professor at the University of Copenhagen; Principal Project Investigator associated with Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien); Visiting Researcher at Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, in the Human Sensing Lab under Fernando de La Torre; briefly joined Epic Games to work on Unreal Engine 5’s Nanite in 2019; started a postdoc at TU Wien the same year, followed by another in 2022 with INRIA in George Drettakis’ GraphDeco group.
