Research Experience
Currently a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Houston, and the director of the Intelligent Data and Systems Lab (IDS Lab). Previously, he was a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Education
Earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from William & Mary, where he worked with Evgenia Smirni and Alma Riska from EMC. Also worked at Microsoft Research with Yuxiong He, Olatunji Ruwase, and Trishul Chilimbi, and at HP Labs with Lucy Cherkasova.
