One of only three individuals to receive Technical Achievement Awards from both IEEE Circuits and Systems Society and IEEE Computer Society.

Chair of ACM SIGDA from 2021 to 2024.
Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Circuits and Systems Magazine (2020–2023); currently inaugural Editor-in-Chief of an IEEE journal (title incomplete).
Served as Distinguished Lecturer for IEEE CEDA and IEEE CASS, and Distinguished Visitor of IEEE CS.
Mentored 14 former students who became faculty members in the U.S., Turkey, Hong Kong, and China, including four NSF CAREER awardees.
