Research Experience
Currently a Postdoctoral researcher at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at CMU, working with Prof. Vincent Aleven and Prof. Ken Koedinger on the PLUS project; previously worked at ASSISTments, developing an internal crowdsourcing platform for gathering common wrong answer feedback (CWAFs) and teacher instructional recommendations (IRs), which have been shown to improve student performance; led the engineering team at OLE Nepal, a nonprofit organization, where he developed E-Paath, a project offering curriculum-aligned learning materials designed to support teachers and enhance the student learning experience.
Education
Earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute under the guidance of Prof. Neil T. Heffernan.
Background
Considers himself a builder, interested in using technology to create scalable educational resources that enhance learning opportunities. Research interests include human-AI tutoring, learner behavior, classroom orchestration, and moderated crowdsourcing.
