Research Experience
Previously, an assistant professor in the CSE department at WashU, a postdoc in computer science at UC Berkeley, and a research scientist at Amazon AI and IBM Research-Almaden.
Education
Completed his Ph.D. at Peking University and was a visiting Ph.D. student at UIUC.
Background
Research interests in natural language processing, machine learning, and security. Currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at UC Santa Cruz, and also an affiliate faculty of the UCSC NLP Group and the Generative AI Center.
