Academic Achievements
  • Co-recipient of the IEEE Marconi Prize Paper Award in Wireless Communications in 2011, Best Paper Award from IEEE ICC 2016, Best Paper Award from IEEE Communication Society GCCTC 2017, Best Paper Award from Digital Communications and Networking in 2021, and Best Paper Award from IEEE WCNC 2023. Was an Associate Editor of IET Communications from 2016 to 2022. Currently on the Editorial Board of IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking. Published several books and numerous journal papers.
Research Experience
  • Was a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong during 2010-2011; was a visiting student at Princeton University from June to August 2009; was a visiting scholar at University of Waterloo during 2016-2017. Currently, a Professor with College of Information Engineering at Zhejiang University of Technology, China.

  • Received B. Eng degree with Honors in Information Engineering from Zhejiang University, China, in 2004; obtained PhD degree in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2010.
Background
  • Research interests lie in the areas of wireless communication and networking, cognitive networks, and smart grids, including power control, adaptive resource allocation, cooperative communications, interference cancellation, non-orthogonal multiple access for wireless networks, mobile edge computing-enabled IoTs, semantic communication, and demand response management for smart grids.
