Most of his current research is driven by trying to find an answer to the question: How to make advanced, complex AI systems reliable and scalable? He is actively exploring the intersection of reinforcement learning, mechanistic interpretability, and their application in AI alignment, including but not limited to scalable oversight and formal verification.
