Research Experience
My research is in Music Informatics and Knowledge Engineering, with a focus on Music Information Retrieval, Responsible Music AI, and Multimodal Knowledge Graphs. This ranges from the design of computational music analysis and information retrieval, to engineering knowledge systems promoting access and interoperability of multimodal resources.

Music Informatics & Knowledge Engineering. I am an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in Computer Science at the University of Liverpool. My work is at the intersection of AI and Music, designing computational methods and systems to represent, analyse, and connect music, with particular attention to creating trustworthy AI systems that preserve human creativity and promote access to musical knowledge.
