Background
  • Research Interests: Image formation, image reconstruction, image analysis, and robotics with applications to two emerging biomedical acoustic imaging modalities - photoacoustic imaging and ultrasound tomography. By prototyping the instrumentation, developing new imaging formation methods, and investigating algorithms for better image quality, I employ photoacoustic imaging and ultrasound tomography to discover new quantitative parameters for cancer detection. Currently focusing on prostate cancer and breast cancer.
