Currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics (LCSR) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), and a special volunteer at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Education
Ph.D. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in 2024, advised by Dr. Emad Boctor, Dr. Martin Pomper, Dr. Russell Taylor, and Dr. Webster Stayman; Predoctoral fellow at NIH from 2019 to 2024, mentored by Dr. Bradford Wood, Dr. Sheng Xu, and Dr. Peter Pinto; Master in Robotics from JHU in 2018; Bachelor in Electronic Information Engineering with a minor in Advanced Honor Class for Engineering Education (ACEE) from Chu Kochen Honors College at Zhejiang University (ZJU) in 2016.
Background
Research Interests: Image formation, image reconstruction, image analysis, and robotics with applications to two emerging biomedical acoustic imaging modalities - photoacoustic imaging and ultrasound tomography. By prototyping the instrumentation, developing new imaging formation methods, and investigating algorithms for better image quality, I employ photoacoustic imaging and ultrasound tomography to discover new quantitative parameters for cancer detection. Currently focusing on prostate cancer and breast cancer.
