  • Served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer & Data Sciences at CWRU; involved in multiple research projects, including publishing papers in top conferences such as NeurIPS, ICDM, JBI, ACL, KDD, and invited to give a keynote speech at the Artificial Intelligence with Causal Techniques Workshop at AAAI 2025.

  • Obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia (UVA) in summer 2023, working with Prof. Jundong Li and Prof. Aidong Zhang; obtained master's and bachelor's degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU).

  • Currently, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer & Data Sciences at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Research interests include: Trustworthy AI (generalization, explanation, fairness, robustness, etc.), Causality (causal machine learning, causal inference, causality in LLMs), Graph learning (graph foundation models, graph neural networks), LLMs (explanation/causality/safety/ethics in LLMs, LLM applications), and AI for social good (such as science and healthcare). Actively looking for self-motivated PhD/Master/intern students.
