Academic Achievements
  • Published over eighty papers, most of them in leading international conferences and journals. Served on the PCs of numerous international conferences and workshops, including top-tier database and AI conferences (PODS, ICDT, IJCAI, AAAI, and KR). Given invited talks and tutorials at international workshops and summer schools.

  • September 2016 - Present: Lecturer, School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh; November 2014 - September 2016: Postdoctoral Researcher, Institute of Information Systems (now called Institute of Logic and Computation), Vienna University of Technology; October 2011 - October 2014: Postdoctoral Researcher, Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford.
Background
  • Research interests include database theory (with emphasis on knowledge-enriched data and uncertain data), knowledge representation and reasoning, computational logic and its applications to computer science. Currently a Lecturer in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, equivalent to Assistant Professor.
