- Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), recipient of IBM Ph.D. Fellowship (2004), SIGMOD Jim Gray Doctoral Dissertation Award Honorable Mention (2006), and the 2016 Semantic Web Science Association (SWSA) Ten-Year Award. Received nine best paper awards (PODS 2003, 2005, 2011, 2019; ISWC 2006, 2014; ICDT 2010; ESWC 2011; WWW 2012). According to Google Scholar, his articles have received 13134 citations.
Research Experience
- Former director of the Millennium Institute for Foundational Research on Data and the Center for Semantic Web Research. Served on multiple program committees and editorial boards. Chaired the program committees of ICDT 2015, ISWC 2015, and PODS 2018. Participated as an invited expert in the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
