Research Experience

Currently a Postdoctoral Associate at New York University (NYU) and New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), working under the supervision of Prof. Yi Fang. Also a Visiting Research Fellow at Harvard University, under the guidance of Prof. Mengyu Wang.

Education

Earned a Ph.D. in Cartography and Geographic Information System in 2021 from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) and the Aerospace Information Research Institute (AIR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), under the supervision of Prof. Chen Feng. During doctoral studies, was a visiting scholar at the NYU AI4CE Lab, mentored by Prof. Chen Feng.

Background

Research interests include 2D/3D deep learning, multimodal large language models, and geospatial analysis, with a focus on creating reliable, equitable, and beneficial AI systems for society.
