With over 14 years of international research experience in medical imaging and medical physics, he has participated in more than 20 research projects (HorizonEurope, H2020, FP7, EIT Health, RETOS, RIS3CAT, CRUK, etc.) and technology transfer projects.
Education
He holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK (2013) and was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (2015-2017).

Dr. Oliver Díaz is an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona and a senior member at the Barcelona Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Laboratory, where he coordinates oncology projects (EuCanImage, RadioVal, AIMED). Since 2023, he has also been affiliated with the Computer Vision Center. His research involves developing AI algorithms and computer simulations to support medical decisions.
