Academic Achievements
- Involved in multiple research projects including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI image analysis. Supervised several PhD students and postdocs, such as Albert Malet, Joel Vidal, Richa Agarwal, Meritxell Tortajada, Guillaume Lemaitre, Yago Diez, Albert Gubern Mérida, Filip Velickovski, Gerard Pons, and Jhimli Mitra.
Research Experience
- Worked as a post-doctoral research assistant at the University of Girona from 2004 to 2006. Currently an Associate Professor in the VICOROB research group.
Education
- Received BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Science from the University of Girona in 1997 and 1999, respectively. Obtained a PhD from the School of Information Systems (now School of Computing Sciences) at the University of East Anglia, UK, in 2003.
Background
- Research interests include Image Analysis, Pattern Recognition, and Computer Vision, with a special focus on image registration, feature extraction, and classification.
