Published multiple papers in top conferences such as USENIX Security, S&P, and CCS; won the Best Paper Award at CHI 2025; received an NSF SaTC EDU award; served as a PC member for several international conferences including USENIX Security, NDSS, and ACM CCS.
Research Experience
Leads the Security and PRIvacy for smarT systems (SPIRIT) lab at UCF. Recent research focuses on the privacy compliance and security of software systems and devices, ranging from existing mobile and IoT applications to emerging AI-enabled software and devices. Worked in security and privacy R&D teams at Symantec Research Labs, NIO USA, and Amazon Lab126.

Ph.D. in 2021 from Indiana University Bloomington; Master’s degree in 2015 from IIE CAS with a Dean’s Award; Bachelor’s degree in 2012 from USTC.
Background
Research interests include software supply chain security and privacy compliance. Assistant Professor of Computer Science at UCF and a member of the Cyber Security and Privacy Cluster (CyberSP).
