Involved in multiple research projects funded by EU and other organizations, such as ECHOES, REFLEX, HPCCN, EVOCATION, etc.
Research Experience
In 2007, he applied his research on photometric stereo techniques to flatbed scanners at the HP labs in Palo Alto. In 2008, he worked in the 3D Model Laboratory (Sardegna Ricerche) on acquisition of real-world objects, particularly in the Cultural Heritage field, using 3D laser scanners.
Education
Holds a Laurea (M.Sc., 2003) and a Ph.D. degree (2007) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Cagliari, Italy.
