Research Experience
Conducts accessibility research in the Inclusive Design Lab at UW, focusing on accessibility of subjective information—e.g., urban/public art accessibility for blind and low vision people, and interface techniques to evaluate disability bias in AI-generated images.
Collaborating with Dr. Julie Kientz on improving diversity in HCI research recruitment from both researcher and participant perspectives.
Working with Dr. Brett Oppegaard (University of Hawaii) on evaluating generative AI systems for audio description writing feedback.
At Cornell, led video accessibility projects: 360° video accessibility (ASSETS 2023), contextual video accessibility across viewing scenarios (CHI 2024), and ADHD-focused video accessibility (CHI 2025).
Collaborated on research about hate/harassment on social media (CHI 2024/2025) and invisible disability representation in social VR avatars (ASSETS 2024).
Served as a Cornell Tech Siegel PiTech Impact Fellow (2024) with the Design Trust for Public Space.
