Published multiple papers in conferences and journals such as IEEE Access, IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE ICDCS, IEEE TCC, ACM SoCC, on topics including exploiting crash-reporting systems using timing gap and unrestricted file-based workflow, secure Tor traffic obfuscation, GNN-based fingerprinting system for permissioned blockchain networks, uncovering threats in container systems due to misconfigured components, hardware-isolated network security enforcement system for cloud environments, hardware-based high-performance and secure system for container networks, fault-tolerant MEC architecture for mission-critical systems using SmartNIC, hardware-assisted high-performance security extension for cloud networking, trustworthy function-as-a-service using snapshot-based enclaves, and SmartNIC to assist URLLC processing in multi-access edge computing platforms.
Research Experience
Software Engineer Intern at NAVER Corp. (July 2018 – August 2018), developed backend server systems for Naver Japan; Trainee in the Government-supported information security expert training program Best of the Best (BoB) (June 2017 – March 2018), developed user location tracking and Wi-Fi device fingerprinting systems, selected as one of the best 10 out of 140 trainees.
