Research Experience
Part of the Music and Auditory Research Lab (MARL) under the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions at New York University, engaging in interdisciplinary work that spans music theory, technology & composition, computer & information science, and interactive media. Also affiliated with the Max Planck – NYU Center for Language, Music and Emotion (CLaME), an institution dedicated to investigating foundational links between language, music, emotion, memory, and decision-making.
Background
Research interests include language learning and reward on one hand, and music, reward, and memory on the other. Capitalizing on music to shape cognitive neuroscience, and using cognitive neuroscience to influence music.
