Published multiple academic papers, including 'RobotKeyframing: Learning Locomotion with High-Level Objectives via Mixture of Dense and Sparse Rewards' accepted at CoRL 2024, 'Learning Steerable Imitation Controllers from Unstructured Animal Motions', and more.
Research Experience
Currently conducting doctoral research at ETH Zurich and Disney research Studios. Participated in several research projects, including hosting a booth at the annual ETH RobotX innovation day to showcase research and robots.
Education
PhD candidate at ETH Zurich (Computational Robotics Lab) and Disney research Studios. Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Control from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. During her master's thesis, she worked on the development and control of an over-actuated quadcopter for agile maneuvers.
Background
Research interests include robotics, character animation, and reinforcement learning. Aiming to bridge the gap between robotics and character animation by investigating how to develop natural motions on legged robots and how to control physics-based animated characters. Also interested in developing reinforcement learning algorithms for character control, legged locomotion, and motion generation.
Miscellany
In her free time, she enjoys cycling, swimming, and reading poetry. She is also an amateur astronomer who likes stargazing and has recently started exploring night sky photography.
