Academic Achievements
Several papers were accepted at international conferences in 2023, including one that won the best paper award at CPAIOR2023; three papers were accepted for ICAPS2023; Chris Beck started a new role as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the 'Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research' since 2023.
Research Experience
Current application areas of research include scheduling, robotics, supply chain management, vehicle routing, decision-making in uncertain and dynamic environments, and the development of intelligent restaurant and hotel reservation systems.
Education
Members hold undergraduate and graduate degrees from diverse fields such as computer science, engineering science, industrial engineering, mechatronics, and operations research.
Background
Research interests include, but are not limited to, constraint programming, local search, hybrid AI/OR techniques, stochastic optimization, machine learning, data mining, and preference representation and reasoning.
