Background
A computer scientist, designer, and computational social scientist. His research interests include bringing a (more-than-)human-centered approach to the design of sociotechnical systems, particularly generative AI and social media platforms. He focuses on translating insights from design and the social sciences into the development of these systems. In his dissertation, he explored ways to conceptualize and navigate attention online to develop interventions that mitigate the spread of misinformation and promote collective intelligence.
