Received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University in 2019, advised by Prof. Lei Ying; a Master's degree in Signal and Information Processing from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014; and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Hunan University in 2011.

A tenure-track assistant professor at the School of Information Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University. His research interests include stochastic modeling, analysis, and optimization, online learning and decision-making, and reinforcement learning, with applications in language models, large-scale server systems, communication and ride-sharing networks, etc.
