Currently mentoring several PhD and MS students at IIIT Hyderabad and teaching courses such as Introduction to IoT and Real-Time Systems; has conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania and multiple European institutions.
Education
Assistant Professor at IIIT Hyderabad since September 2019; previously a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania working with Prof Insup Lee; worked at the Embedded Systems Engineering Section of DTU Informatics and the Hardware Software Codesign Department of the University of Erlangen, Nuremberg; obtained his PhD from the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore under the supervision of Prof Roger Zimmermann; his PhD thesis was titled 'Quality-aware performance analysis of multimedia MPSoC platforms'; prior to his PhD, he conducted research on hardware-efficient reconfigurable architectures for image processing algorithms; also worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Conexant Systems Inc., involved in the design and verification of ASIC and FPGA IP cores for optical communication protocols; obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, India.

Currently an Assistant Professor at IIIT Hyderabad, with research interests in scalable design and performance analysis of edge-based IoT systems, analysis and design of real-time/cyber-physical systems, design methodologies for embedded systems, and intelligent transportation systems.
