Background
- My research interests lie in the interdisciplinary area between computer and human vision, including human cognition and developmental learning. In particular, I am interested in computational modeling of visual intelligence, including the computational processes and mechanisms of visual perception and recognition in the brain, as well as the learning mechanisms of complex cognitive concepts. Furthermore, I am interested in exploring the possible use of similar processes and mechanisms to tackle fundamental, yet very challenging problems in computer vision and artificial intelligence.
