Successfully defended the Ph.D. thesis titled “Understanding and Taming Adversarial Actions against Internet Content Blockers”. AdGraph project won 3rd place for the applied research paper award at CSAW (US-CAN region). Multiple papers accepted at top conferences such as IEEE S&P and NDSS.
Research Experience
Currently a Research Scientist at Meta. Served as a summer research intern at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, supervised by Supriyo Chakraborty. Also served as a research intern at Samsung Research America twice.
Education
Earned a BEng in Telecom Engineering from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecom in 2016. Received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside (UCR) in 2021, co-advised by Prof. Zhiyun Qian and Prof. Srikanth Krishnamurthy.
Background
Research interests include computer security and privacy, particularly adversarial machine learning, learning-based program analysis models, and model explainability strategies. Past research focused on privacy-enhancing technologies.
